Job summary

Cloudflare is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Network Performance & Reliability team. The role focuses on enabling more reliable network connectivity across Cloudflare products using Argo technology, with collaboration across engineering and SRE to optimize edge network usage.

You will work across Rust, Go, Linux networking, and databases, writing code, tests, and deploying production software while embracing AI-assisted tools to accelerate problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems-level programming in Go, Rust, C, or C++.
• Strong knowledge of OSI layers 3 and 4 networking.
• Familiarity with HTTP, TLS, and CDN networks.
• Experience building secure, highly available distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability enhancements for Cloudflare products using Argo tech.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to translate requirements into platform capabilities.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle and deploys in production.
