Job summary

CACI is seeking a Network Operations Technician Journeyman to support Air Force network modernization across CONUS. You will triage, analyze root causes, patch systems, and configure routers, switches, and servers in a demanding NOC environment.

Responsibilities include incident management, security updates, and documentation. A secret clearance and relevant DoD experience are preferred for this essential role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Network Operations Center environment.
• Ability to observe legacy network behavior and compare against baseline performance.
• Familiarity with applying security patches and OS upgrades to ensure system integrity.

Responsibilities

• Create and respond to incident tickets and perform network triage per SOPs.
• Resolve IT hardware/software infrastructure issues across servers, network, and security.
• Perform configuration management and maintain detailed records of network devices.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot outages across enterprise environments.
• Develop and apply network TTPs and SOPs to improve ticket closure.
