Ideal candidates bring four years of college coursework in IT/engineering, extensive network engineering experience, and proven leadership in complex IT environments across WAN design, TCP/IP, and SLA management.

Qualifications

• Four years of college coursework in management information systems, IT, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or private IT organization
• Three years of professional experience supervising a team of IT professionals in a large and complex IT organization
• Four years of professional experience managing vendor relationships and service level agreements
• Four years of professional experience in telecommunications and network infrastructure including WAN design and capacity planning
• Four years of professional experience in advanced network engineering including TCP/IP and dynamic routing protocols

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs, and implements long-term network strategies to maintain a secure and reliable broadband network.
• Develops policies and operational practices for IT networks and services.
• Manages budgets and vendor relationships to ensure service quality and value.
• Serves as a full-line supervisor for IT professionals and teams.
