Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to guide Custom Network migration programs, coordinating across Planning, Engineering, Construction, Implementation, Operations, vendors, and customer-facing teams.

This fully remote role in the United States involves building migration plans, managing dependencies and risks, and communicating plans and milestones to customers and stakeholders. You will support schedules, governance, and program reviews while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting telecommunications, network migration, infrastructure, or transformation programs.
• Knowledge of network planning, implementation, and operations.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in complex environments.
• Customer-facing experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of project management, reporting tools, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain migration plans, schedules, and roadmaps.
• Coordinate activities supporting network migration delivery and route prioritization.
• Identify dependencies, constraints, and readiness requirements.
• Support customer meetings, planning reviews, and issue resolution efforts.
• Maintain migration trackers, metrics, and status reporting; provide forecasts and updates.
