Job summary

Meta's Edge & Network Services team is seeking a Network Infrastructure Design Engineer to design space, power, cooling and connectivity for global edge/backbone deployments across data centers and colocation facilities.

You will collaborate with design, planning and deployment teams to develop infrastructure requirements and drive on-time project delivery, with 20–30% travel based on demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manages global space, power, cooling, cabling, and inside-plant infrastructure for edge/backbone deployments
• Collaborates with design, planning and deployment teams to execute cage/suite build-outs
• Leads site acceptance activities with colocation providers and tracks project timelines
• Coordinates multiple projects with vendors to ensure on-time delivery
• Develops optimized floor plans and space allocations for network/compute hardware
