Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Network Equipment Engineer (IEN hubs) in a hybrid work arrangement. You will own power, space and cooling designs, order equipment per specifications, track orders, and manage suppliers while adhering to maintenance engineering standards.

You will collaborate with multiple network teams to implement new technologies and services, align FUZE data fields, and ensure task readiness for project execution across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Knowledge of cell site and small cell design for wireless cellular systems.
• Valid driver's license and willing to operate a company vehicle throughout the territories assigned.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for all power, space and cooling designs, and for ordering equipment per the design specifications, tracking the orders, and managing the suppliers.
• You will specify equipment to support all projects in the IEN hubs following maintenance engineering standards.
• As equipment engineer you will be accountable for creating statements of work for specific engineering projects, bidding out projects and following all purchasing guidelines.
• Performing project oversight in FUZE, including managing project creation, cancellations and on-hold status changes.
