Job summary

SAVOYE NORTH AMERICA seeks a Network & Infrastructure Lead Engineer to own the network and Linux virtualization stack for WES deployments at customer sites. You will design, implement, and support large-scale distribution center networks while engaging with customer IT teams and third-party vendors.

You will also grow into platform and DevOps responsibilities (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, CI/CD, database ops) and ensure reliability, security, and performance across the install base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
• 7 years of experience in network engineering or administration with 2+ years in lead role.
• Expert knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Aruba switches and Fortinet/Palo Alto firewalls.
• Linux administration and VMware ESXi experience for production environments.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites (10–25%).

Responsibilities

• Own network architecture for WES deployments, including segmentation and VPNs.
• Lead installation, configuration, and go-live at customer sites.
• Maintain Linux VMs and virtualization layer, including patches and storage.
• Collaborate with software/DevOps teams on Docker Swarm and Kubernetes.
• Engage with customer IT and manage vendor/ MSP relationships.
• Document designs, standards, and site-specific configurations.
