Job summary

Savoye North America, a designer and integrator of supply chain solutions, seeks a Network & Infrastructure Lead Engineer. You will own network architecture for WES deployments at customer sites, engaging with IT teams and vendors to ensure reliable, scalable designs.

You will also own Linux/VMware layers and collaborate with software teams on Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. Hybrid role in a multi-site environment, with 10–25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
• 7+ years in network engineering or administration with 2+ years in lead roles.
• Expert-level knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and segmentation.
• Experience with Cisco and/or Aruba switches and enterprise firewalls.
• Experience designing high-availability, low-latency networks for large deployments.
• Strong Linux administration, VMware ESXi, and virtualization know-how.
• Willingness to travel 10–25% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Own the network architecture for WES deployments at customer sites, including segmentation, VLANs, routing, switching, and VPNs.
• Design high-availability, low-latency networks to support automation equipment and control systems.
• Manage equipment lifecycle and vendor relationships for core network gear.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation and deployment standards across sites.
• Engage with customer IT teams and vendors to defend designs and coordinate SLAs.
• Lead network installation, configuration, and cutover at customer sites; provide on-site go-live support.
• Oversee Linux/VMware layer, and partner with software/DevOps teams on CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes.
