Job summary

Tanner Medical Center seeks an IT Security Engineer to design and maintain enterprise security architecture aligned with business goals. You will identify vulnerabilities, drive remediation, and automate triage to improve security posture across systems.

In this role, you will consult with IT and development teams on initiatives, applying security frameworks such as ISO/NIST/MITRE ATT&CK and ensuring robust authentication and access controls while communicating risks clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT technology.
• Six years of related experience in security engineering.
• Experience in healthcare IT environments preferred.
• Familiar with ISO, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Knowledge of authentication and access control methods.
• Experience with SIEM, PAM, vulnerability management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer service skills.
• Ability to create technical procedural documentation.
