Google is seeking a Senior Network Engineering Manager for the Enterprise Network based in Austin, TX. You will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Google's Office and Data Center networks at scale, driving reliable operations and innovative solutions across teams.

The role requires strong ownership, strategic decision-making, and the ability to influence stakeholders. You will manage multiple complex projects, mentor managers, and shape a high-functioning network engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting with network equipment providers.
• 3 years of experience managing and building teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and thought leadership to improve the whole life-cycle of Google's Office and Data Center Enterprise networks from inception and design, to qualification and validation through deployment, operation, and optimization.
• Identify broad problems proactively and translate these into projects and work for your teams.
• Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure development of end-to-end network solutions for Alphabet.
• Advocate for and build a great team culture that foster openness and collaboration.
• Grow and retain a various set of talent, providing technical direction and career guidance and manage other managers.

• Experience with planning and designing networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.).

US: $222000 - $308000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
