Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks a Senior Network Security Architect to design and implement enterprise cybersecurity and network infrastructure. You will lead security architecture across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments and mentor engineers while engaging with customers and executives.

Responsibilities include threat detection planning, incident response, SD-WAN initiatives, and automation using IaC and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of enterprise architecture experience.
• Expertise in cybersecurity, network architecture, and Cisco technologies.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, security operations, and incident response.
• Knowledge of cloud security, Zero Trust, and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Python and related tools.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.
• Onsite work with periodic travel to customer locations.
• Location: Plainsboro, New Jersey; Employment Type: Full-time.

• Design enterprise security architectures across network, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop security operations, threat detection, and incident response strategies.
• Lead network security initiatives, including segmentation, routing, switching, and SD-WAN.

• Advise customers and executive stakeholders on security strategy and risk.
• Lead technical reviews, mentor engineers, and identify opportunities for modernization.
