Job summary

Advantage Technology is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, troubleshoot, and lead enterprise networking projects across West Virginia. This role emphasizes hands-on work in schools, government facilities, and enterprise locations.

You will own design through deployment, mentor junior engineers, and travel regionally. The candidate should be comfortable with Layer 2/3, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and high-availability networks, across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on networking experience across large enterprise and public-sector environments.
• Strong track record designing and deploying wired and wireless networks.
• Experience with Layer 2/3 routing, VPNs, and firewall configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design complete wired and wireless network solutions.
• Lead major switching and wireless infrastructure refresh projects.
• Configure enterprise switching, routing, and redundancy.
• Lead network migrations and production cutovers.
• Travel throughout West Virginia and surrounding region as required.
