Job summary

Richesin Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design and implement enterprise and carrier-grade network infrastructure. The role emphasizes deep protocol knowledge, clean design thinking, and the ability to work independently.

Remote work is possible for the right candidate, though some travel to project sites will be required. Strong certification and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• CCNP or equivalent certification or validated expertise in enterprise networks.
• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS and enterprise switching.
• Experience with SD-WAN platforms (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Fortinet, etc.).
• Ability to produce clear, professional network design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement enterprise and carrier-grade network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, and SD-WAN deployments.
• Lead network assessments and produce detailed design documentation.
• Collaborate with field teams on installation and commissioning.
• Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions.
• Support ISP and WISP clients with routing, peering, and capacity planning.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
