Job summary

DZYNE Technologies LLC. in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Network Engineer to architect, deploy and sustain secure networks for unmanned aircraft systems and airborne mission systems. You will lead design efforts, evaluate new technologies, and ensure DoD cybersecurity compliance while mentoring teams.

Requires 7+ years in network engineering, Cisco IOS/IOS-XE expertise, and experience with RF radios, SATCOM, and datalinks. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of network engineering experience with leadership.
• Hands-on experience with IP-based RF radios and airborne datalink systems.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.
• Proficiency with Cisco network devices (IOS/IOS-XE).
• Expertise in data networking concepts and principles.
• Ability to start and lead technical projects and communicate as a subject-matter expert.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of secure network architectures for UAS and airborne platforms.
• Define system and network design requirements aligned with mission and security needs.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair network systems using advanced engineering methods.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate radios, SATCOM, and datalinks.
• Produce technical documentation including specs and integration guides.
• Monitor network usage and performance to ensure reliability in operational conditions.
• Evaluate emerging communications technologies to enhance mission capabilities.
• Prepare and maintain detailed network configuration records.
• Lead integration events, rehearsals, and deployments.
