Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Network Engineer to transform technology into opportunity on mission-critical government projects. The role covers network design through implementation, maintenance and upgrade of existing networks, with emphasis on end-to-end performance and dataflow management.

The position requires a TS/SCI with Poly clearance, US citizenship, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and extensive experience in LAN/WAN administration and network

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
12 years of related experience.
LAN/CAN/WAN administration, end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of modernization efforts for medium and large-scale infrastructures.
Design solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test and provide ongoing maintenance for network devices and interfaces.
Implement network solutions to support server requirements including load-balancing, VPNs, firewalls, VPN tunnels, IPsec, NAT and related technologies.
