Job summary

GDIT seeks a Level 3 Network Engineer to optimize dataflow, design, deploy, and maintain complex network architectures for DoD/IC environments. You will lead projects, configure VPNs, firewalls, and advanced network services while ensuring ISO and DoD/IC compliance.

The role requires 9+ years of related experience, US citizenship, and a Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance. Annual salary range is disclosed and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related discipline is required; a BA/BS with 2 extra years may substitute for Master’s.
• Ten+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• IAT II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.
• Cisco certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.
• Conduct data captures to obtain network performance information.
• Minimize latency and maximize throughput through design analysis and monitoring tools.
• Design, integrate, configure, deploy, test and maintain network devices and methodologies.
• Configure and optimize the network to connect front-end and back-end components.
• Glean data to specify performance and interface requirements.
• Implement network solutions to support server needs (VPNs, firewalls, VoIP, IPSec, NAT, etc.).
• Maintain network diagrams and accreditations.
• Oversee support to all network equipment.
• Lead design of the organization’s network and mission architecture for partners.
• Manage tasks and guide junior Network Engineers.
