Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Network Engineer - Level 3/4 to design, deploy, and maintain advanced networks, including international sites. The role requires active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI/CI poly prior to start.

Responsibilities include implementing DISA STIGs, configuring WANs, subnetting, and coordinating with labs and development environments to maintain robust information assurance posture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's; 3+ years with a Master's; 1 year with a PhD.
• Active Top Secret clearance required; ability to obtain SCI/CI Poly prior to start.
• Experience with IP subnetting and L1-L3 networking.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking and WAN deployments, including international sites.
• DISA STIGs applied to network devices; Security+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deployment and maintenance of networks.
• Interface with groups to understand customer network requirements and implement STIGs.
• Evaluate vendor products and provide recommendations for hardware/software.
• Maintain system documentation and performance tuning.
• Assist with deploying international networks and integrating labs and development environments.
• Support information assurance posture and form innovative solutions.
• This role can be filled at Level 3 or Level 4.
