Job summary

Radix Metasystemsorporated is hiring Tier III Operations and Maintenance Engineers in Aurora, CO to support WAN and LAN networks through upgrades and configurations. Your role will include acting as a subject matter expert in network technologies and providing technical support.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Currently active TS/SCI security clearance issued by a U.S. Government Entity.
• U.S. Government Adjudicated Full-Scope or Counterintelligence polygraph.
• Minimum of 5 years of Network Design/Engineering experience.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise other network support and client server specialists.
• Participate in evaluation of new network technologies.
• Diagnose hardware and software problems.
• Monitor performance of systems and networks.
• Prepare troubleshooting procedures for optimal network performance.

Skills

Layer 1 and Layer 2 network experience

Network configuration and troubleshooting experience

Knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade and Foundry OS

Familiar with Layer 3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, GRE

Familiar with Viso and Service Now

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
