Job summary

Radix Metasystemsorporated is looking for a Network Engineer Tier III to manage and support WAN and LAN networks. The role requires expertise in network configurations and technical troubleshooting, with a focus on maintaining optimal systems performance.

Key responsibilities include supervising network support specialists, evaluating new network technologies, and providing tiered support in a collaborative environment. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Network Design/Engineering experience.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification requirements.
• Currently active TS/SCI security clearance issued by a U.S. Government Entity.

Responsibilities

• Support WAN and LAN networks and provide upgrades and config support.
• Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
• Support routine network startup and shutdown procedures.

Skills

Layer 1 and Layer 2 network experience

Network configuration and troubleshooting experience

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade and Foundry OS

Familiar with Layer 3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, GRE

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
