Job summary

ASD in Kapolei, Hawaii seeks a Senior Network Engineer to ensure stability, integrity and efficient operation of the in-house information systems supporting the USBICES-X program. You will monitor, maintain, support and optimize networked software and associated operating systems, applying problem-solving to maximize IT investments.

Responsibilities include configuring Cisco routers and switches, administering CUCM/VOIP, and ensuring security compliance with 8570/8140 and Top Secret

Qualifications

• Must have CCNA Security and comprehensive knowledge of network analysis and design.
• Must be able to configure Cisco routers, switches, patch panels and related network hardware/software.
• Top Secret security clearance required; DoW IA Workforce II level with 8570/8140 compliance.
• Juniper route/switch knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve network incidents and problems.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users and junior network personnel.
• Interface with vendors and participate in network outages or periods of reduced performance.
• Maintain network security and ensure compliance with security policies.
