Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience in IT or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in network administration and security with Cisco, Palo Alto, Citrix or equivalents.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, VPN, wireless, load balancing, and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools, incident response, and capacity planning.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and vendor relationships.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid role with ~15% travel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor and support network security, VPN, wireless, load balancing, routing and switching infrastructure.
• Follow defined procedures to monitor systems and resolve problems.
• Support infrastructure platforms of medium to high complexity with multiple concurrent users ensuring control, integrity, accessibility and performance.
• Participate in planning with stakeholders and leaders; may lead planning efforts.
• Work with project teams to understand business needs, recommend solutions and ensure requirements are met.
• Collaborate with other engineers to clarify technical requirements.
