Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Network Engineer for its Mission Systems team in San Diego, CA. You will contribute to enterprise digital transformation, working with OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP across multi-vendor networks. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain Secret clearance.

You’ll perform hardware/software installation and maintenance, ensure cyber compliance, and implement enhancements to boost performance. Domestic travel for installations and customer demos is possible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related discipline; 2 years of experience, or 0 years with a Master's.
Experience configuring and operating OSPF in multi-area deployments and IS-IS; BGP knowledge.
Must be a US Citizen; clearance eligible for a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
Experience with Cisco IOS and Junos CLI; ability to build multi-vendor topologies in GNS3 and EVE-NG.
Experience administering RHEL Linux and capturing/analyzing packets.
