Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) in San Diego, CA is seeking a Network Engineer to join our enterprise team. You will perform high‑level consulting in information technologies, install and maintain hardware/software, and ensure cyber compliance across systems.

Ideal candidates have OSPF multi‑area, IS‑IS, and BGP experience, with Cisco IOS and Junos CLI proficiency. US citizenship and Secret clearance are required; travel may be up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in science or engineering; 2 years experience or Masters
• Experience configuring OSPF multi-area and IS-IS with NET addressing
• Working BGP knowledge with iBGP/eBGP and route policy
• Comfort with Cisco IOS and Junos CLI
• Experience using GNS3/EVE-NG for validations
• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant in highly specialized information technologies.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Meet cyber requirements including antivirus, logging, and services.
• Recommend and implement system enhancements for performance.
• Troubleshoot complex problems across Agile, Networking, and Software.
• Travel for system installations, test support, and demos.
