Job summary

Ross Stores seeks an experienced Network Engineer II to lead technical delivery across development, test and production environments. You will design, implement and maintain enterprise network solutions while ensuring compatibility with business goals and IT standards.

The role requires hands-on Cisco routing/switching, SD-WAN design, firewall, SSL VPN and cloud voice experience, with collaboration across IT and business teams. Remote work options may be available within the US.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum 7 years network engineering experience.
Senior level certification or equivalent with demonstrated relevant experience.
Basic Linux knowledge.
SD-WAN design & implementation.
In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VTP, MPLS, QoS, GRE, STP, IPSEC, VDC, VPC).
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco router/switch platforms.
Experience deploying cloud-based voice solutions.
Familiarity with firewall technologies and SSL VPN.
Experience with WAN optimization and IPS.
Operational knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager.

Responsibilities

Research, evaluate, develop and implement network designs and standards.
Ensure technical solutions align with business needs and objectives.
Collaborate with IT to design and implement enterprise network solutions for dev, test, and prod.
Provide technical expertise and assistance to IT and business groups.
