Job summary

iConvergence is seeking a Network Engineer to design, build, and support infrastructure for schools, hospitals, and enterprises in Memphis. You will work independently and with a team to resolve complex network problems and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The role requires CCNA or equivalent hands-on experience and 4+ years with Cisco Enterprise Networking. You will manage tickets, document configurations, and provide on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• CCNA Routing and Switching certification or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 4+ years working with Cisco Enterprise Networking Products.
• Proficiency in network design, installation, and troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, and hybrid environments.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, VoIP, and QoS protocols.
• Strong written communication and organization.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, support, implement, and troubleshoot customer network and computing systems across multiple client sites.
• Install and configure network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Translate technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage tickets, activities, and projects with thorough and accurate documentation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Participate in departmental and project planning meetings.
• Provide after-hours on-call support including nights, weekends, and remote or onsite coverage as needed.
