Job summary

The Clearing House in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is seeking a Specialist Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring uptime and security across LAN/MAN/WAN.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT, 5+ years of network engineering experience, CCNA, and a track toward CCNP, with strong communication and project coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• Cisco CCNA required; CCNP track a plus.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, WAN/LAN in large environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork; on-call 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning, design, deployment, and maintenance of the network infrastructure.
• Ensures QA and documentation align with standards and project methods.
• Prepares quotes, budgets, and proposals for network equipment.
• Develops and enforces security and monitoring practices.
