Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years in network engineering or related area.
- CCNA required; CCNP track preferred.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls in large LAN/MAN/WAN.
- Strong communication and on-call availability 24/5.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, implement, test and maintain network infrastructure.
- Ensure QA and adherence to installation standards.
- Assist in budgets and proposals for network equipment.
- Create and maintain configuration and documentation; MS Visio.
- Develop and implement network utilization and security strategies.
- Deploy equipment and cabling; rack and stack up to 25 pounds.
- Monitor networks; provide reporting across environments.
- Review hardening configurations per standards.
- Knowledge of VPNs, encryption, RSA, and security models.
