Information Systems Solutions, Inc. (ISS) seeks a Network Engineer, Systems IV to support NIWC Pacific.

The role provides engineering and day-to-day operational support for the physical RDT&E and SECRET RDT&E network environments, focusing on integration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and security of network devices and services. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; senior-level role with independent and collaborative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and day-to-day operational support for the physical RDT&E/SRDT&E network environment.
• Monitor and analyze network performance at physical and IP levels using enterprise tools.
• Respond to outages after-hours with on-site requirement within two hours of notification.
• Establish multi-cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure) with VLANs, VPCs, and gateway configurations.
• Configure and troubleshoot OSPF, BGP, IPsec, and secure tunneling.
• Implement NAC systems (Aruba ClearPass) and Zero-Trust architectures.
• Prototype, install, and maintain routing, firewall, and boundary configurations (HPE Aruba, Palo Alto).
