Job summary

Eleven Software, Inc. seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and troubleshoot large IP networks and multi-vendor environments. You will automate provisioning, support RADIUS/AAA authentication, and gradually shift toward building production software services that control network infrastructure.

You will collaborate with software engineers to translate network needs into scalable platform features while contributing to security and reliability across AWS-based services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, operating, and troubleshooting production IP networks.
• Strong command of routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, firewalling, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, QoS across layers 2–7.
• Hands-on experience with RADIUS, AAA workflows, 802.1X and certificate-based authentication.
• Experience with multiple vendors (MikroTik, Meraki, Nomadix, Ruckus, Aruba) in large fleets.
• Automation scripting for provisioning and troubleshooting using Python, Bash, RouterOS, REST APIs.
• Strong Linux knowledge and CLI proficiency; interest in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot a large multi-vendor fleet of network devices.
• Design, operate, and troubleshoot network authentication end-to-end (RADIUS, 802.1X, EAP).
• Develop scripts and automation to streamline provisioning and device lifecycle management.
• Build diagnostic tooling and perform root-cause analysis across deployments.
• Translate network behavior into software platform requirements and review designs.
• Architect and maintain software services that interact with network infrastructure.
