Job summary

HTC Global Services is hiring a Network Engineer to support campus enterprise infrastructure and on‑premises operations. You will maintain wired and wireless networks, resolve incidents, perform maintenance, and participate in an on‑call rotation.

The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise networking, multiple device families, and strong collaboration with security, architecture, and infrastructure teams. Onsite presence is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise networking including switching, routing, wireless networking, and TCP/IP.
  • 2+ years configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Fortinet devices.
  • 2+ years diagnosing and resolving network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
  • 2+ years supporting firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and security best practices.
  • 2+ years installing and supporting network infrastructure including racking, stacking, cabling, testing.
  • 2+ years maintaining technical documentation, diagrams, and operational records.
  • 2+ years with OSPF, BGP, VLANs, spanning tree, and high-availability architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and support enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure (switching, routing).
  • Install, configure, rack, stack, cabling, and test equipment during field deployments.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
  • Investigate incidents via remote analysis and onsite troubleshooting.
  • Perform routine network maintenance including upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Support network security technologies including firewalls and VPNs.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours maintenance.

Job Title : Network Engineer (Enterprise Infrastructure)

Overview / Summary

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support daily enterprise network engineering operations in a campus environment. This is an onsite position responsible for maintaining wired and wireless network infrastructure, resolving network incidents, performing network maintenance, and supporting secure, reliable connectivity across university facilities. The role includes participation in an on‑call rotation and occasional after‑hours maintenance and incident response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, maintain, and support enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure, including switching, routing, and connectivity services.
  • Install, configure, rack, stack, cable, and test network equipment during field deployments.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network connectivity, performance, and security‑related issues.
  • Investigate incidents through remote analysis and onsite troubleshooting while coordinating repairs as needed.
  • Perform routine network maintenance, including upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and performance optimization.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, incident records, and operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate with network engineering, architecture, security, infrastructure teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Support network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and related security controls.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation and provide occasional after‑hours maintenance and incident response.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise networking, including switching, routing, wireless networking, and TCP/IP.
