Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to support and evolve a large enterprise network environment spanning corporate campuses, manufacturing and warehouse facilities, and a primary distribution center, while also contributing to the stability and integration of the global enterprise network.

This role is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and ongoing optimization of campus and wide‑area network infrastructure, including multi‑building environments with high availability, operational technology (OT) considerations, and secure segmentation. The position requires deep hands‑on expertise in routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, and network security, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across geographically distributed sites including cloud infrastructure.

You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable connectivity for business‑critical systems, warehouse and logistics platforms, and corporate users, while maintaining alignment with enterprise security standards and network architecture.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer who enjoys owning real‑world networks, supporting physical sites and distribution operations, and contributing to a globally connected enterprise environment.

A Day In The Life
  • Design, implement, and maintain campus network infrastructure across multiple buildings, including core, distribution, and access layers.
  • Support network connectivity for a distribution center and warehouse environment, including high‑availability requirements and operational technology (IT/OT) segmentation.
  • Operate and enhance the enterprise WAN, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity between regional and global locations.
  • Develop and maintain network architecture standards and roadmaps aligned with overall infrastructure strategy.
  • Implement and manage VLANs, network segmentation, and 802.1X authentication across campus and operational environments.
  • Utilize Aruba ClearPass to enforce secure access controls and IT/OT network separation.
  • Configure and manage role‑based access control and privileged access using TACACS.
  • Administer and troubleshoot site‑to‑site VPN connectivity and remote site integration.
  • Deploy and support SD‑WAN solutions where appropriate to improve resiliency and performance.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting to isolate and resolve complex network issues across multiple sites and technologies.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; recommend and implement improvements.
  • Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup strategies for core network infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for campus, WAN, and global network designs.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain firewall policies and network security controls.
  • Participate in network upgrades, lifecycle refreshes, and expansion projects across sites.
What will help you thrive in this role?

Skills and Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience supporting large, multi‑site enterprise networks.
  • Strong experience in campus networking, including multi‑building and warehouse/distribution environments.
  • Deep knowledge of routing and switching technologies, including BGP and enterprise routing design. Hands‑on experience with Cisco switches and routers.
  • Experience with firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Check Point, or Cisco ASA.
  • Strong understanding of network security fundamentals, including segmentation, ACLs, VPNs, and access controls.
  • Experience with wireless networking in corporate and operational environments.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Exposure to cloud networking (e.g., hybrid connectivity, cloud interconnects, or virtual networking) is considered a bonus.
  • Ability to support on‑call rotations and respond to after‑hours incidents when required.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred.
  • Strong practical experience with enterprise network security and access control solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
