Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Network engineer jobs.
• Understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP protocol suite, subnetting, IP addressing, routing, and switching.
• Familiarity with networking devices like routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN appliances, and understanding their functionalities and configurations.
• Knowledge of common network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, etc.
• Understanding of common security threats and attack vectors, as well as knowledge of security measures such as firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), encryption techniques.
• Proficiency in routing protocols (e.g., RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and switching protocols (e.g., STP, VTP, EtherChannel), and ability to configure and manage routers and switches.
• Ability to use network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, Zabbix) to monitor network traffic, health, and performance, and perform troubleshooting and optimization.
