Caritas Family Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer II to lead the design, implementation, and security of our enterprise network for 500+ users across 18 locations. You will mentor IT staff and drive infrastructure strategy in a growing non-profit environment.

The role requires 5+ years of network experience, a relevant degree, and Network+ certification with CCNA preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Illinois, with competitive benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Five+ years in computer systems, networking, or IT infrastructure.
• Network+ certification; CCNA preferred.
• Experience with multi-site enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize network architectures.
• Develop scripts to support data and system integrations.
• Apply cybersecurity and information security best practices.
• Lead and mentor junior IT staff.
• Participate in IT budgeting and strategic planning.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability; document inventory.
• Coordinate maintenance using change management procedures.
• Provide after-hours support and disaster recovery planning.
