Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the Cyber, Security, & Intel team in Ft. Meade, MD. You will design, deploy, and troubleshoot advanced network and security architectures to support mission-critical DoD IT capabilities.

Ideal candidates hold a CCNP, TS clearance with SCI eligibility, and hands-on experience with IS-IS/OSPF, MP-BGP, MPLS, ISE, and firewalls. SCIF work, some travel, and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach are expected.

Qualifications

• CCNP certification required.
• Experience with IS-IS/OSPF and MP-BGP in complex networks.
• MPLS with RSVP-TE, LDP, SR-MPLS; advanced routing policies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and troubleshoot network and network security architecture.
• Provide engineering escalation support for LAN/WAN operations.
• Coordinate with IA Security Engineers for DISA STIG compliance.
• Create and update technical deployment documents and templates.
• Identify and diagnose complex performance and security issues.
