Job summary

RMS Retail Marketing Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to install, configure, and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless systems. The role focuses on uptime, security, and reliability to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in complex networks, relevant degrees and Cisco/Palo Alto/Azure/VMware certifications, with hands-on experience in Cisco routers and firewalls, SolarWinds, and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing complex network environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Certifications: CCNP, Palo Alto, Microsoft Azure, or VMware.
• Experience with Cisco/Cisco ASA, Barracuda, Cradle Point, Digi routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds and CrowdStrike.
• Experience administering enterprise network environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching and TCP/IP.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and reliability.
• Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and internet connectivity.
• Implement and maintain network security measures.
• Coordinate upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Analyze utilization and suggest performance improvements.
• Perform capacity planning and tuning.
• Support incident response and problem resolution.
• Maintain network diagrams and procedures.
• Provide end-user training as needed.
• Evaluate new technologies and solutions for adoption.
