Qualifications

• 4-year IT-related degree or equivalent work history.
• Min 8 years of experience in IT operations or network support.
• Foundational networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPN, DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewall basics, and Juniper Junos.
• Experience with Juniper EX/SRX, Mist wireless, and related Juniper tooling.
• Ability to analyze alerts and logs to support troubleshooting and incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise network health and performance across Juniper platforms, wireless, firewalls, WAN, and related infra.
• Perform initial triage for network incidents by gathering logs and escalating when needed.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, packet loss, routing, switching, wireless, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall issues.
• Document timelines, steps, findings, and actions in ticketing/knowledge systems.
• Maintain network equipment, apply approved software updates, and validate changes per change control.
