Job summary

Wings Credit Union is seeking an experienced Network Engineer III to lead design, implementation, and optimization of the organization's network and telecom infrastructure. You will drive standards, roadmap development, and secure, scalable operations across IT teams.

The role emphasizes research of new technologies, collaboration, and robust disaster recovery capabilities to support business goals and member service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of combined experience in network engineering (routing, switching, wireless, 802.1x, security, firewall management, DR) required.
• 2+ years of technical support or service desk experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network technologies including campus data centers, wireless, firewalls, security platforms, and telephony.
• Monitor network, voice, and firewall performance and report outages to stakeholders.
• Analyze infrastructure usage to ensure scalability and performance; lead enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Implement security measures on devices and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Maintain accurate topology diagrams, device configurations, and troubleshooting docs.
• Provide on-call support and assist in IT projects and incident resolution.
