Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Network Engineer III for a large healthcare technology transformation in the Poughkeepsie, NY area. The position is onsite, requiring five days on site and potential travel between facilities as needed.

The role focuses on network analysis, IP renumbering, router/switch/firewall configuration, migrations, testing, and Tier 3 support across a multi-site environment. A CCNP/CCDP or equivalent cert is preferred.

Qualifications

• Senior-level enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong routing and switching knowledge.
• Firewall and network security technologies expertise.
• Hands-on router, switch and firewall configuration.
• Experience with enterprise network migration or infrastructure implementation.
• Strong network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting multi-site environments.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week.
• Ability to travel between healthcare facilities as required.

Responsabilités

• Analyze existing network environments in preparation for migration.
• Support planning and execution of IP renumbering activities.
• Implement new IP addressing schemes.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls and related network infrastructure.
• Execute network migrations and cutovers.
• Conduct post-migration testing and validation.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues.
• Provide Tier 3 network support.
• Maintain network and project documentation.
• Travel between healthcare facilities as project requirements dictate.
