Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Network Engineer II to support enterprise data networks across multiple facilities in the Poughkeepsie/Putnam County region. The role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, WAN/LAN routing and switching, and wireless networking within a large-scale environment.

The candidate will implement and support network infrastructure, coordinate upgrades, and work onsite five days per week, with periodic regional travel. A CCNA and practical operations experience are required.

Our client is a large enterprise organization isundergoing a significant technology transformation. Based out of the Danbury, CT and Putnam County area, they are looking to hire a Network Engineer II on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on Network Engineer who wants to participate in a major, multi-year infrastructure transformation. You'll work across multiple locations supporting network implementation, upgrades and ongoing operations while gaining exposure to a large-scale enterprise environment. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys hands‑on troubleshooting, working directly with infrastructure, and seeing the impact of their work across multiple facilities.

• Assist with implementation of infrastructure projects
• Monitor, maintain and optimize network infrastructure and communication links
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and other technical groups
• Maintain network documentation and support information
• Travel periodically between supported facilities
