Job summary

Sorenson Communications in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Level III (Senior) Network Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience configuring Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and related technologies. You will join a small team supporting a medium-size enterprise network and contribute to project design, testing, and production support.

Ideal candidates have strong TCP/UDP, DHCP/DNS, BGP, EIGRP skills, experience with F5 LTM/ASM/AFM/GTM, VMware, SIP, and a collaborative,

Qualifications

10 years real world experience managing Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and wireless and mobility environments.
Preferred 4 year / bachelor’s degree; Cisco certifications a plus.
Strong documentation and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and implement network technology related projects.
Fully document network related infrastructure.
Support and troubleshoot network related infrastructure.
Be a resource for Engineering and QA teams on projects and production deployments.
Serve on-call duties and perform after-hours changes for production systems.
