Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering or observability.
• 3–5+ years with enterprise monitoring platforms: ScienceLogic, NetScout, VOSS, Dynatrace, SolarWinds.
• Strong knowledge of SNMP, NetFlow, syslog, and common network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate enterprise network monitoring and observability platforms (e.g., ScienceLogic SL1, NetScout, VOSS).
• Integrate monitoring tools with network infrastructure, cloud platforms, and Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows (Ansible, Python) for monitoring and onboarding activities.
• Configure event management, alerting, and correlation policies to reduce noise and improve incident response.
• Troubleshoot complex monitoring and performance issues across network and server environments.
• Support device onboarding, configuration changes, and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with vendors, operations teams, and architects to ensure comprehensive monitoring coverage.
• Participate in architectural reviews and planning discussions.
• Provide documentation, diagrams, and operational guidance; mentor junior engineers as needed
