Job summary

Skyline Technology Solutions, LLC. in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a senior network professional to design, implement, and troubleshoot client networks in a hybrid role with on-site requirements.

The candidate will lead installation efforts, support daily operations, and coordinate change requests, while documenting procedures and maintaining network diagrams. Requires CCNP/JNCIP, 5–10 years IT experience, and a degree in CS or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• CCNP/JNCIP or equivalent certification required.
• 5–10 years of IT experience.
• Experience leading the design and delivery of network projects.
• Experience with network monitoring and documentation.
• Experience ITIL framework and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and field installation for network initiatives and delegate tasks to engineers.
• Support day-to-day operational needs for customer infrastructure and on-site requirements.
• Facilitate technical support case escalation and resolution.
• Update and manage customer documentation.
• Scope work and create change requests for non-standard tasks.
• Implement projects as requested by the customer; provide on-site support as needed.
• Serve as senior field resource for on-site troubleshooting and deployments.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer infrastructure to demonstrate value.
• Participate in on-call rotation and address issues to prevent operational impact.
• Coordinate logistics for equipment deployment and field scheduling.
• Attend team meetings to align work with execution and deadlines.
