Job summary

Success By Design, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support network infrastructure for state agency clients in Maryland. Hybrid, in-office work is project-dependent.

Type: Six-month engagement with potential for permanent conversion. Responsibilities include designing LAN/WAN/WLAN, serving as escalation point, leading design and testing, troubleshooting hardware and connectivity, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of network engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• JNCIP or CCNP certification.
• Hands-on wireless networking experience.
• Expert-level routing and switching incl. BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, and Spanning Tree.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site at client locations as projects require.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
• Juniper platform experience.
• Public-sector or state government experience.
• Network automation including Python and Ansible.
• Service provider network experience.
