Job summary

isofy is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our fast-paced environment, supporting the hardware layer of our network management platform and providing network help desk support at client sites.

You will work with firewalls, switches, access points, and other devices, coordinating with engineers and leadership to deliver reliable connectivity and exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong networking fundamentals and protocols knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Experience with major network hardware (Cisco/Juniper/Meraki/WatchGuard).
• Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Weekend work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide network support via helpdesk tickets and phone calls.
• Interact with third parties (low voltage vendors, circuit providers) to resolve issues.
• Assist in design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ongoing projects.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
• Respond to incidents, identify root causes, and implement actions.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Research industry trends and best practices in network engineering.
• Collaborate with software engineering on network automation software.
