Job summary

Wipro is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to administer LAN & WAN across global projects. You will configure Cisco routers/switches and related devices, troubleshoot connectivity and security issues, and implement scalable network infrastructure for offshore development centers and enterprise initiatives.

The role requires 3–5 years in Cisco routing and switching, CCNP-equivalent certification, and experience with MPLS/VPN and NMS tools.

Qualifications

Cisco routing & switching experience (3–5 years).
CCNP-equivalent certifications or higher.
Experience with routing protocols (OSPF/BGP) and MPLS.
Familiarity with NMS tools and network hardware configuration.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage Wipro LAN & WAN across the globe as part of Global Network Project Implementation Team.
Configure and implement network devices (routers, switches, NMS tools, Wi-Fi) from multiple vendors (Cisco preferred).
Troubleshoot network and security issues within project scope.
Implement network infrastructure for offshore development centers and enterprise projects with proper security and redundancy.
Coordinate with ISPs, clients, and onsite teams for P2P, MPLS, VPN links and outages.
