Job summary

Randstad Digital in Durham, NC seeks a Network Engineer to lead the design, installation, and management of enterprise LAN/WAN, security, and cloud networking initiatives. You will partner with global teams to implement infrastructure enhancements while ensuring high availability and SLA compliance.

The role requires 7+ years of network infrastructure experience, CCNA certification, and strong TCP/IP, routing, and firewall skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or 10 years IT experience.
• 7 years network infrastructure experience required; with a global company.
• Project Management experience: coordinating cross-functional infra projects and leading at least 2.
• Hands-on network experience: TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VoIP, web domain, wireless.
• Experience with Server, Virtualization, Storage, Active Directory, GPO, DNS.
• CCNA Certification mandatory.
• Cisco switching products experience mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team-oriented; able to explain technical info to stakeholders.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and Change Management skills.
• Self-starter with initiative and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead WAN/LAN, firewall, monitoring, and web domain initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional infrastructure projects and lead at least two.
• Maintain network availability, reliability, and SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with global teams on future infrastructure enhancements.
• Deploy standard hardware, software, and tools for business units.
