CSC Sugar in Westport, CT is seeking a Network Engineer to own the company network end to end. You will design, build, secure and support firewalls, switching, WAN and cloud networking across multiple sites and AWS.

The role requires hands-on ownership, on-call escalation, and documentation discipline to ensure reliability and rapid recovery from outages. AWS, Cisco FMC/FTD, and ASA migration experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong, recent production experience with Cisco FMC and FTD, including policy design and VPNs.
• Solid working knowledge of Cisco ASA, including ASA-to-FTD migration.
• Proven experience designing and supporting AWS networking: VPCs, Transit Gateway, site-to-site VPN, and on-premises-to-AWS connectivity.
• Strong Cisco switching and routing skills: VLANs, OSPF/BGP, WAN failover.
• Willingness to serve as primary on-call escalation point and to travel.

Responsabilités

• Own network monitoring and incident response across sites and AWS.
• Lead end-to-end incidents from detection to resolution with root-cause analysis.
• Design and implement firewall, VPN, and routing configurations.
• Coordinate migrations from ASA to FTD and refresh end-of-life gear.
• Draft runbooks and maintain accurate network topology and documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors and carriers to meet project timelines.
