Job summary

OzarksGo in Fayetteville, AR, seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise and carrier-grade networks. You will manage Layer 2/3 connectivity, security, and performance across data, voice, and video services for Northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include scripting, patch management, and documentation, with a focus on reliability and security. Industry experience with ISP networks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; associates or higher in technical field preferred.
• Experience: minimum five years in network engineering or related roles.
• Must understand ISP environment and enterprise/carrier-grade networks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day network operations for data, voice, and video services.
• Maintain security, reliability, and availability of network infrastructure.
• Design and maintain Layer 2/3 connectivity for LAN/WAN.
• Install and upgrade network hardware, software, and patches.
• Develop scripts to improve efficiency and integration.
• Evaluate new network applications and technologies and advise on hardware/software choices.
• Provide technical support to users and subscribers as needed.
• Assist training of users and staff on network systems.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Adhere to safety, policies, and regulatory requirements.
