Job summary

OzarksGo, LLC, based in Fayetteville, AR, seeks a Network Engineer to oversee day-to-day network operations supporting data, voice, and video services. The role ensures security, reliability, and availability of the network infrastructure while designing Layer 2/3 connectivity and managing WAN/LAN networks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree or higher in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum five years of related experience in network engineering or service provider networking.
• Experience with Layer 2/3, VLANs, NAT, DWDM, and high-speed interfaces.
• Strong documentation, scripting/automation, and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the network infrastructure supporting data, voice, and video services.
• Maintain security, reliability, and availability of network infrastructure.
• Design and maintain Layer 2/3 LAN and WAN connectivity.
• Install, configure, update network hardware, software, firmware, and patches.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation to improve operations.
• Evaluate requests for new network applications and technologies and advise on hardware/software.
• Provide technical support to internal users and subscribers.
• Assist with training users and staff on network systems.
• Maintain network documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and implement fixes.
• Maintain a safe working environment and complete IT/Security training.
