Jobot is seeking a Senior Network Resident Engineer for Enterprise Security & Switching in Alexandria, VA. This on-site role requires a Top Secret clearance and 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networks, firewalls, routing and switching.

You will own network operations, support major deployments, and coordinate with vendor teams to resolve issues. Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $190,000 per year with a bonus plan, comprehensive benefits, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• BS in a related field.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• 5+ years hands-on network engineering experience.
• Enterprise-level network design, operation, and support.
• Knowledge of stateful firewalls, routing, and switching; including QoS and traffic engineering.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a large enterprise network on-site in Alexandria, VA.
• Troubleshoot firewall, routing, and switching issues and coordinate with vendor support to resolution.
• Support client engineers on deployments and changes for major network projects.
• Serve as primary on-site technical contact for operational issues.
